Zinc Plating

Zinc plating is a method of surface finishing for components and products made of ferrous materials. A thin layer is applied to the surface without affecting dimensional stability, resulting in a smooth, matte-gray surface. Zinc plating gives products an excellent aesthetic appearance and makes them corrosion resistant. During the process, a thin protective layer is created by electrochemical deposition of zinc on the substrate metal.
